Minority Ethnic Communities Health Fair 2022

We will be running a stall at the Minority Ethnic Communities (MEC) Health Fair in Cardiff on Wednesday 29 June.

The aim of the MEC Health Fair is to provide accessible health & wellbeing information and health checks to members of Cardiff’s minority ethnic population. It also encourages people to take preventative measures and think about improving their lifestyle by embracing healthy eating, exercise, and other preventative measures.

First Minister for Wales Mark Drakeford MS will give the opening address. There will be health checks available, including blood pressure, BMI and atrial fibrillation screening, as well as workshops covering mental health, carers, bowel cancer, screening and childhood immunisation. There will be an opportunity to speak to an expert panel on a range of health issues and also First Aid displays.

Please come and say hello to our Development Manager for Wales and Northern Ireland, Melanie Peters, who will be on duty at our stall.
