The Glaucoma UK National Patient Voices Survey has now closed

We are now working on turning your responses into an actionable report to lobby for meaningful changes that will benefit patients. What happens now?

The survey may have closed, but our work is far from finished.

The responses are now being independently analysed by our research partner Picker.. Their report, expected in early 2027, will help us understand where glaucoma care is working well, where important gaps or inequalities remain and which improvements could make the greatest difference.

From evidence to action

Publishing a report is not the end goal. We want the experiences you shared to lead to meaningful improvements in glaucoma policy, services and care.

Crucially, we are not looking only to raise awareness or generate media coverage. We want to open doors, secure meetings and put your evidence directly in front of the people who can improve glaucoma care. We want to build support for the recommendations, secure commitments wherever possible and measure whether the campaign is making a difference.

Reaching more than 10,000 responses is an extraordinary achievement. But the real measure of success will be what changes because those 10,000 people chose to speak.

You have given us the evidence. Now we must make sure it is heard.
