Glaucoma UK is the charity for people with glaucoma. We’re working hard to end preventable glaucoma sight loss and we’re ambitious for our future.
We’ve got access to the top glaucoma specialists in the UK which means we can offer some fantastic training opportunities as well as flexible working and the support of a small friendly team.
As a Glaucoma UK Training and Engagement Officer you will play a key role in protecting sight, particularly in communities at higher risk of developing glaucoma. You will help us to roll out training for eye health professionals, set up new glaucoma support groups, and strengthen links with high risk communities, acting as a point of contact with organisations across the region/nation.
There are three part-time roles (21 hours) in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and a full-time post (35 hours) in Northern England. This is an exciting time to join us, as we work together to bring an end to preventable glaucoma sight loss.
If you would like to apply for the post, please email your CV and a covering letter explaining how you meet the person specification, to Richenda at r.kew@glaucoma.uk by 9am on Monday 13 February. Please state which role you are applying for in the email subject line (e.g. ‘TEO Scotland’).
We’re always on the lookout for volunteers to help out with a variety of tasks. Take a look at our opportunities
