Role description

It’s vital that Glaucoma UK has effective data management and analysis. We need to understand the impact of our work in order to direct our energies effectively: towards activity that prevents glaucoma blindness.

We’ve made enormous strides lately, but there’s more we can do to embed the collection and use of data across the whole charity, in all our activities. To take us to the next stage, we’ve created this new role of Data and Insight Lead, and we’re looking for someone to drive this work, upskill our team and help us become an insight and evidence-led organisation.

So, whether you’re an experienced data analyst or you just love a spreadsheet and want to use your skills to effect change, we’re keen to hear from you.

Role description

This is a permanent, full time role (35 hours per week). Glaucoma UK operates a flexible working policy.

Expanding our reach is a key part of our current strategy, but to achieve this we need to increase our engagement with partners and eye care professionals. To help them do this, we’ll support them by providing training and resources.

This new role of Professional Engagement Lead is key to this work. Reporting to the Head of Support Services, you’ll work closely with the wider support services team, and the communications team. If you’re a relationship builder, experienced or interested in professional training and a strong communicator, we’d love to hear from you.
