Here at Glaucoma UK we have a helpline team who can give advice, guidance and information to support you at every stage of your glaucoma journey.
We know how busy hospital eye clinics are, and how hard it can be to ask questions when things are rushed or when you’re worried or upset. No matter what your glaucoma questions are, we’re here to listen to your concerns, answer your questions and provide sound advice to help you manage life with glaucoma.
Whether you’re recently diagnosed, have questions about your treatment, are concerned about a loved one, worried about your driving licence or you’re just looking for someone to talk to who understands, give us a call and chat with our friendly team.
How to get in touch
Call the helpline on 01233 64 81 70 or email email@example.com
We’re open 9.30am – 5.00pm on weekdays.
If you call outside these working hours, just leave a message and we’ll call you back as soon as possible.
Having been very worried about the renewal of my driving licence which expires soon, I used your helpline. The advice given was so clear and practical, and given with patience and kindness. Just what I needed. Thank you for being there.
Support & advice
Providing support and advice is at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to providing our helpline free of charge to everyone who needs it.
Calls to our helpline cost no more than a standard rate call to 01 or 02 numbers and count towards any inclusive minutes in the way was as a standard call. All calls are treated in confidence. We record calls for training and quality monitoring, but we’re happy to turn this off if it would make you feel more comfortable. Please just let the team know at the start of the call.
