Keith Barton, a Professor of Ophthalmology and Glaucoma Specialist at Moorfields Eye Hospital, is raising money for Glaucoma UK by cycling from London to Paris in just 24hrs.
His bike ride, which has been postponed three times since May 2020 due to the pandemic, is due to take place from 30 April to 1 May this year and will see him cycle almost 200 miles!
Keith, who has previously been Chair of the Board of Trustees at Glaucoma UK, has already raised over £8,500 of his £10,000 target.
As a medical professional who specialises in glaucoma, he is passionate about raising vital funds for the charity to help support those living with the disease. Over the years, Keith has raised an incredible £80,000 for Glaucoma UK by taking on various challenges, including cycle rides and night walks.
You can play a part in this incredible cycling challenge and show your support for Keith by helping him to reach his £10,000 target for Glaucoma UK – visit his Just Giving page to find out more and donate!
