Glaucoma UK is turning 50

We have some big plans for our 50th year as a charity, and we’d love you to be a part of them. Our vision of eliminating glaucoma sight loss would be unachievable without a committed community driving us towards it. Here, you can learn about some of the ways you can help us, and gain inspiration from the extraordinary challenge one member of our community, Martin Higgins, has set himself.

I won’t be here, of course, but I do hope Glaucoma UK isn’t celebrating its centenary in 50 years’ time. I hope that – as a result of our continued commitment to funding high-quality research – we have found that elusive cure and the need for the charity no longer exists. Now that would be cause for a party, wouldn’t it?

The Pitts Crick Research Fellowship is a new position we are funding to get closer to our goal of ending glaucoma sight loss. We can’t achieve this without your support.
