Description
Pigment dispersion syndrome and pseudoexfoliation are two common causes of long-term (chronic) open angle glaucoma. Only some people with pigment dispersion syndrome or pseudoexfoliation develop glaucoma.
This booklet tells you what pigment dispersion syndrome and pseudoexfoliation are. The booklet explains how these two conditions can sometimes lead to high eye pressure and glaucoma. The booklet also describes common tests and treatments for glaucoma.
