Event platform app and registration
Shortly before the conference you will be sent an email from the event platform, Canapii, to the email address you specified when you purchased your ticket. This will indicate how to download the app and join the platform.
Canapii gives you access to the conference programme, abstracts, details about exhibitors, and networking opportunities. Votes and polls will also be accessible to you, so we recommend you use the app to maximise your experience at the event.
A unique QR code will also be sent to you. This QR code needs to be scanned at kiosks in the registration area to print your badge, so please have this email ready on arrival at the conference. For security reasons, anyone without a badge will be unable to access the conference.
You will be able to view most presentations for up to 60 days after the event, so we respectfully ask you not to record on your phone or tablet during the conference.
Day 1 Conference timings (10 November)
Registration opens at 8.00am. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available as you enter the exhibition area. The first presentation will be at 9.00am and the last session ends just before 6.40pm.
The evening event follows straight on from the conference in the exhibition areas. This is included in your ticket price. The evening will end around 10.00pm.
Day 2 conference timings (11 November)
Registration opens from 7.30am. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will again be available.
The early morning session is a workshop focusing on presentation skills from 8.00am to 8.50am. The other conference presentations start at 09.00 and end at 5.30pm.
This year there is a parallel session on Day 2 – Session 15b: ‘The Graphene Session: Delivering glaucoma care with strength, efficiency and flexibility’. This is a non-surgical session being delivered by Cecilia Fenerty, Angela Knox and Robert Harper.
